These are probably the most common thought of products that people think of when you say the term 'mobility aids' but there are a whole host of items that aid people when they are having trouble moving.

Mobility aids can include appliances that help people within daily tasks around the house, for example the Tube Master. Sounds interesting doesn't it, well it's actually for squeezing tubes such as tooth paste or cream. People who cannot use their hands properly or who do not have a lot of strength in their upper body find it hard to do this, something which most people don't even think about when they are doing it, but this little tool makes the world of difference to a person who finds it hard.

Another item which can dramatically help is the Supagrip Plug. This is an everyday plug that can be fitted to any appliance; the only difference is the casing. It has a handle on the outer plastic case which makes it a lot easier to pull out and push into sockets. Or how about the Pill Crusher, it's an easy to use little jar that you can simply put the pills in and it effortlessly crushes the pills, without this crushing pills requires strength and can be a bit fiddly.

People generally like to feel independent and to be able to do things by themselves without asking for help, items such as these help people who have disabilities or who have injured themselves to do that. We can sometimes take it for granted everything we do in a day when we can do it easily without even thinking about it, but if you can't move too easily or if you don't have a lot of control or strength in your body then even the most mundane of jobs can be a challenge, these products, however small, can make that challenge more manageable and give back a persons independence.
